Update: I cut the majority of my hair off again

So its been about 4 months since my big chop and my tapered cut had already gotten into this awkward length stage. I called the salon with the intention of getting my hair reshaped and I somehow ended up with the coolest Mohawk / tapered cut I’ve ever seen.

Since I’ve big chopped, whenever relatives or friends ask why I cut off such long hair or tell me they miss seeing me with my long bouncy curls, I would always reply don’t worry it will grow back. Though, in all honesty, at this rate I won’t be focusing on growth. Having short hair is awesome, its low maintenance and pretty damn sexy.

Nothing proves that you love someone more, than mentioning them in your prayers.

Ingredients adapted from www.orgasmicchef.com:

2 cups plain flour - sifted
3½ tsp baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup cold butter (or earth balance) cut into ½ inch cubes
⅔ cup milk (almond or soy will work for #vegan #cooking)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 450F
Place dry ingredients in a food processor and whiz to combine.
Add butter and pulse til the butter looks like peas.
Dump into a mixing bowl and add the milk and honey and stir until it comes together.

Place on a lightly floured surface and knead several times to work the gluten

Then pat the dough with your fingers to about ¾ inch high.
Use a mason jar top to cut the biscuit shape.

Place about an inch apart on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
